2600 AUDIO AND VIDEO RACKMOUNT

A modular range of digital and analogue video and audio cards and frames for the international broadcast market.

The 2600 rackmount system offers a ruggedness and reliability unmatched by any other system released in the last 20 years. These systems have been used extensively thoughout the world in countless installations, and for many of our customers, only 2600 will do.

Built around robust analogue circuitry which has stood the test of time, we now offer digital units to offer complete distribution and conversion solutions.

All of the 2600 cards have individual power supplies built in, meaning if in the unlikely event a card goes down, the rest of the rack keeps working. If you ask any of our customers they’ll all agree; the 2600 range is near indestructible.

5AV2628 CEDA clamped equalising video distribution amplifier

  • A precision video distribution amplifier with readily accessible front panel controls for equalising low quality feeds such as from long lines, OB and satellite.
  • Front panel adjustment for gain and for low, medium & high frequency equalisation.
  • Input signal presence LED.
  • Positive and negative wide ranging equalisation to compensate for under and over equalised signals (user can set for extended range without negative equalisation).
  • Inherently high CMRR that effectively eliminates common mode hum pick up on lines.
  • A clamp circuit with switched options on the front panel. Designed to considerably reduce the effect of differential mode hum or jitter on the input signal. It can be switched on or off.
  • Hard or soft clamping is selectable on the front panel to eliminate excessive or slight differential hum or jitter.
  • Back-porch or sync-tip clamping allows the user to choose the most effective clamping point for the input signal.
  • Handles PAL, NTSC & SECAM signals and passes sound in sync.
  • With its associated 5AV2647 rear connector unit, provides differential looping input with 6 matched 75 Ohm outputs.

5AV2646 video equalising distribution amplifier

5SV2692 4x1 video routing matrix

  • Compact 4×1 analogue composite video routing switcher.
  • Can be combined and configured for YUV, YC and RGB or RGBS switching.
  • Can be mixed with all other 2600 series modules in the standard 1U or 2U rack mounting frames or the portable case.
  • On board independent power supply.
  • Serial control interface.

2600 AUDIO MODULES

5AA2625 & 5AA2625K dual 5 output/single channel 10 output audio distribution amplifier

  • Front panel gain controls and output monitoring test points for each channel (optional gain potentiometers with knobs).
5 balanced outputs per channel of which up to three per channel can be transformer-coupled (a link can be moved to configure the unit to a single channel 10 output distribution amplifier).
  • Electronic or optionally transformer balanced inputs (user selectable high or 600 Ohm impedance).
  • Low impedance outputs (optional 600 Ohm impedance).
  • Novel circuitry around the input and output transformers ensures wide frequency response and low distortion even at low frequencies when transformers traditionally perform poorly.
